Pinteresting Finds #5: Let them eat cake!

Does anyone remember the start of the whole customized cake phenomenon – the Ace of Cakes TV show? I was a huge fun and was so sad to see it go off the air, only to be replaced by the other cake show, Cake Boss. Both created great cakes, but I loved that every cake decorator on Ace of Cakes was an artist in another media. The personalities (or lack thereof) on that show made me laugh every time! And I thought it was so cool that Duff let the kids come in and decorate part of the cakes for their parents! Anyway, my love for cake art is what inspired this batch of Pinteresting finds…

These four are just a few examples of what can be done with cake & fondant! I had multiple horse themed cakes as a child, and let’s face it – as an adult too, but none as elaborate as these! They’re truly works of art!
