Pinteresting Finds #10: The Blazer – Essential Fall Fashion

One of my favorite items of clothing has always been the hunt coat, or “blazer”. My husband can attest that I’m usually cold. Even if it’s 105 degrees, I’ll get cold in the house. I freeze at work. I freeze in the car (with him). OK, this is starting to sound a little too much like Green Eggs & Ham, but you get the idea. I’m always cold! Which means, I’m usually carrying some sort of jacket with me. My favorite: the blazer.

I love how versatile this wonderful piece of couture can be. You can dress it up with a cute dress or down with either jeans or shorts. It’s perfect for those cool Summer evenings and for those crisp fall days. I can almost taste the pumpkin scones! I’ve had a few blazers throughout the years, and in my quest for new styles, I’ve found quite a few amazing and fairly affordable options on Pinterest. Keep in mind that these below are not meant for the show ring, but there’s also no rule against rocking one of your old show coats at work. I love to integrate “horsey” items into my office wear. It reminds me of the barn and helps to get me through the 8hr desk job!
